Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Johnson County Guttering and Roofing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and discloses information when you visit jocogutteringandroofing.com, request an estimate, or contact us through the website.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Inquiry information: name, service address, email address, phone numbers, phone type, referral source, requested service, project description, selected service details and the date you enter.
- Contact records: the content of messages and our follow-up about your request.
- Website and security data: the page and form used, date and time, browser or device information, basic server logs, campaign parameters and information used to detect duplicate, abusive or automated submissions.
- Optional measurement data: page views, general interaction events, completed lead events and approximate device or location information collected by Google Analytics and, when configured, Google Ads conversion measurement according to the regional defaults and your privacy choices.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, driver’s-license numbers, birth dates, bank information, payment-card information or other sensitive financial information through an estimate form.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to your question or estimate request;
- evaluate, schedule and document requested exterior work;
- create and maintain customer, lead and project records;
- deliver lead notifications and prevent a technical email problem from losing a submitted request;
- protect the website, limit spam and troubleshoot problems;
- understand website performance and improve content through measurement governed by regional defaults and your privacy choices; and
- meet applicable legal, accounting, safety and recordkeeping obligations.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to employees and contractors who need it to respond to or perform the requested work, and to service providers supporting website hosting, secure lead storage, email or message delivery, customer and project management (including Poseidon), analytics, security and spam prevention. Those providers may use the information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their terms and our arrangements with them.
When production lead email is enabled, our email-delivery provider processes the inquiry details needed to notify our business inbox and independently controlled backup inbox. The website saves the inquiry before attempting that notification.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell the information you enter in an estimate or contact form for money.
Google measurement and privacy choices
Outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics is on by default unless you choose “Essential only.” In those regions, analytics storage stays off until you choose “Allow analytics.” Before that choice, Google Consent Mode may send limited measurements without analytics cookies. Advertising storage, user data and personalization consent remain denied everywhere. These tools help us understand page views and interactions such as phone, email and completed lead actions. We configure the site not to send names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses or form messages to Google. Google explains how it processes information from sites using its services on its partner-sites information page.
If you choose “Essential only,” normal cookie-based Analytics stops and analytics cookies are removed where possible. Limited cookieless Consent Mode measurements may still occur. You can reopen “Privacy choices” at the bottom of the website and change the choice on that device. Essential storage may still be used for security, form operation and remembering your privacy choice.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry and contact information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage potential or completed work, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. The period depends on whether an inquiry becomes a customer or project record and whether the information is needed for an active matter. We periodically review records and delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain, including access controls and encrypted website connections. No website, network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to review, correct or delete personal information associated with a website inquiry, subject to records we must keep for legal or legitimate business reasons. You may also ask us not to send promotional communications. A request for an estimate gives us permission to respond about that request; it is not blanket consent for automated marketing calls or texts.
Children and third-party links
This website is intended for homeowners and business customers, not children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The site links to third-party services such as maps, review sites and social networks. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, forms, service providers or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is posted.
